Much of my stuff has made its way to the farm, and among it are items recommended by one of the farm managers. I believe a number of people compared this 'what to bring' list to the list one gets when going to camp and though I can see the similarity....this list is much, much cooler.
Recommended for the growing season:
1. Carharts or other sturdy working pants
2. Long underwear, it's cold here
3. High Rubber boots for mud season
4. Rain Gear - The classic sort of fisherman type of get-up. You'll need both a jacket and pants.
5. Sturdy shoes in general. You must wear closed toe shoes on the tractor.
6. Shorts and tee-shirts etc for when the sun shines.
7. Also good to have a small pocket knife
8. Work gloves, a watch and sometype of hat to keep the sun off.
